How Opening Film collects, uses, keeps and deletes personal information.

This is an English translation. If it differs from the Korean version (개인정보처리방침), the Korean version prevails.
(to be announced) (the "Company") protects the personal information of users of Opening Film (openingfilm.com, the "Service") in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related laws, and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows.
1. Purposes of processing
The Company processes personal information only for the purposes below, and asks for consent in advance if a purpose changes.
- Account management — sign-up and sign-in, identifying users, preventing abuse, sending notices
- Providing the video service — photo upload and preview, turning photos into moving clips with AI, rendering and delivering the final video, re-rendering during the edit window
- Payments and refunds — confirming payments, managing orders, handling withdrawals and refunds
- Customer support — answering inquiries, sending announcements
2. Personal information we process

- Payment method details such as card numbers are processed directly by the payment provider; the Company does not store them.
- Uploaded photos are used only to make your video and are not processed to identify individuals by their faces (biometrics).
- Photos may show other people (family, friends). You must obtain their consent before uploading; the upload screen asks you to confirm this.
3. Retention period

The following are kept for the periods required by law:
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of orders: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Records on payments and supply of goods: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Records on consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
Because the final video is deleted when the edit window ends, please download and keep it within that period.
4. Provision to third parties
The Company does not provide your personal information to third parties, except where the law specifically requires it.
5. Outsourcing of processing
The Company outsources processing as follows to provide the Service.

The Company manages and supervises processors through contracts and other means so they process personal information securely. Changes to processors or outsourced work will be announced through this policy.
6. Transfers of personal information abroad
The following transfers abroad are necessary to provide the Service. We ask for your consent to these transfers before you upload photos.

- The final-video rendering server (Tencent Cloud) is located in Korea (Seoul).
- AI conversion uses AI models offered through fal.ai (for example, Kling) and may be processed on the model provider's systems.
- You may refuse these transfers, but you will then be unable to upload photos or use the video service.
7. Destruction
- Procedure: Personal information whose retention period has ended or whose purpose has been fulfilled is destroyed without delay. Information the law requires us to keep is stored separately and destroyed when that period ends.
- Method: Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
8. Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information, and you may delete your account. Email the privacy officer below and we will act without delay. Children under 14 cannot sign up.
9. Cookies
The Service uses cookies to keep you signed in and to analyze usage. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, but some features such as signing in will not work.
10. Security measures
- All communication is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Passwords and key settings are stored encrypted.
- Photo and video files are kept in non-public storage and can only be accessed through links that expire.
- Access to personal information is limited to the minimum number of people.

13. Changes to this policy
This policy applies from October 14, 2026. Changes will be announced on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect.
